Each instrument is made by an individual maker in the Scott Cao workshop. Spruce top of medium grain. Double purfling. two piece slab cut maple back. Double purfling with artistic inlaid design. Ribs and scroll plain. Antiqued in the style of the original violin and finished in an oil varnish of a golden brown color on a golden ground.
